Export control management commitment statement

Export control management commitment statement

Vännäs verkstad is committed to compliance with all applicable export controls, in particular those of the EU and its Member States as well as the US International Traffic in Arms Regulation (‘ITAR’), the US Arms Export Control Act (‘AECA’) and the US Export Administration Regulations (‘EAR’). This commitment extends to promoting strict compliance on an ongoing basis with these regulations and our obligations to comply with national export controls.

It is Vännäs verkstad policy that all employees comply with national export controls, EU and United States export policies and regulations. Under no circumstances should exports be made contrary to local, EU or US export regulations by any individual operating on behalf of Vännäs verkstad.

Employees may not export or re-export or transfer any defence-related articles or services (including technical data) subject to the ITAR, unless the appropriate authorisation has been obtained. This includes foreign-produced items that incorporate, or are the direct product of, technology, software, or technical data.

Vännäs verkstad requests that every employee takes this matter very seriously and to support Vännäs verkstad in this effort.

If you have any questions concerning the legitimacy of a transaction or have a concern about a potential violation, plant management should be informed. You may also raise an alert according to Vännäs verkstad’s Whistle blowing policy.
